Bidvertiser.com is an advertising broker that sells advertising space via auction. However, they also have a referral program that pays you for sending them new customers. Once you sign up as a publisher, they give you access to banners and text linked up to your referral code for tracking.

What I found interesting about Bidvertiser is the fact that they include two referral tracks: One for referring an advertiser and the other for referring a publisher. The publisher referral seems more lucrative, at least in the beginning, because they pay you $10 after that publisher makes their first $10 through Bidvertiser. However, does anyone know how long it’ll take for you to get those first $10 worth of clicks? If it is a new blog, it could take quite some time.

This is one reason I think their advertiser referral program is more attractive. The advertiser referral compensation structure credits your account only $5 but those $5 come after the first $10 of advertising is purchased. The logic here is that if you refer an advertiser, you know they are at least exploring the idea of buying advertising. If they sign up and like what they see, chances are they will spend at least $10 to try the service out to see if it delivers any results. Once that happens, you’ve made your $5.

If you decide to give it a try (from the advertiser OR publisher viewpoint), please tell me how it works out for you in the comments section.
