YouTube is finally expanding their ad-revenue sharing program to YouTubers in Europe. The expansion is taking the popular ad-sharing program first piloted in the United States to the UK. In the US, many YouTubers are raking in the cash (some of them making money into the thousands of dollars every month). The program, named the YouTube Partner Program offers video uploaders a share of revenue from ads that quietly display along the side of the videos.
Although the program has not yet launched in the UK it is expected to feature similar, if not identical, features to the program currently running the United States. I’d be interested to find out from someone joining the program what the requirements are for inclusion.
