Postonfire.com is the newest digg, mixx and stumble competitor. They have been around for a little while now (i’ve been lucky enough to actually use it since it first went live). Since I started using it, I have really become impressed with how easy the system is to use.

I remember that when I first started using the website, I was consistently on the front page as one of the most active participants.  I drew a significant amount of traffic from there during the first couple of months (pretty much as long as your blog posts and articles appear on the front page it is simple to say that you will generate some traffic from there.

Now, the landscape on the site has changed because they have more users and more article submissions. However, it is still young enough that it hasn’t gained widespread usage among bloggers. If you have more than 30 articles to submit you could easily find yourself on the front page under the most active users. This could surely help you gain some readers.

Another thing is a post-launch contest they are running on the site with one winner to be selected that will get a banner advertisement on the site, a blog review and Entrecard credits as well–if you win you could see yourself getting some good air time too.  There is more information on the contest available on the Post on Fire website that you can take a look at. If you haven’t heard of them until now, you can thank me by simply commenting on this post, subscribing to the feed, or telling your readers about this post so that they too can learn about it.
